Dhootapapeshwar Punarnavadi Guggul is guggulu preparation in tablet form. Wherein punarnava is one of the main ingredients.
Dhootapapeshwar Punarnavadi Guggul usage:-
- In the treatment of spondylosis, sciatica, low back pain, and gout,
- Other skeletomuscular and joint conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
- In cases where there is swelling involved.
Dosage:-
1-2 tabs daily twice or thrice after food or according to the prescription by the physician.

Punarnava – Spreading Hogweed – Boerhaavia diffusa – 4.8 kg
Urubaka – Castor – Ricinus communis – 4.8 kg
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis – 768 g
Water for decoction – 32 liters, boiled and reduced to 4 liters.
Kaushika – Guggulu – Indian bedelium (gum resin) – Commiphora mukul – 864 g
Erandataila – Castor oil – Ricinus communis – 192 ml
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 240 g
48 g fine powder of each of
Nikumbha – Baliospermum montanum
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
